Zim Students Climate Innovation Summit 2026 is a dynamic student-led gathering that brings together young innovators, climate advocates, researchers, and entrepreneurs from across Zimbabwe. The summit provides a platform for students to showcase climate-smart solutions, exchange ideas, and collaborate on innovative approaches to tackling climate change. Through keynotes, panel discussions, and hands-on sessions, the event empowers the next generation to drive sustainable, locally relevant climate action. 🌍✨ Students provide a balanced space to bridge government regulators, private sector financiers, and development partners. As Zimbabwe’s 2030 and 2050 generation, students are not observers — they are long-term shareholders in the success of the National Energy Compact. The Students Climate Summit uses structured competitive debate to stress test Zimbabwe’s climate strategies. Students will critically examine NDS2 and NDC 3.0 frameworks, debating key national dilemmas, such as: Energy access vs. net-zero commitments Industrialization vs. environmental safeguards Climate finance vs. national sovereignty Outcome : A Student Policy Position Paper submitted to the relevant Ministry ensuring structured youth input into national climate policy.
